SAN DIEGO – After a pair of positive COVID-19 tests within the Colorado State men's basketball program and the subsequent postponement of San Diego State's Mountain West opener next week against the Rams, the Aztecs have announced a pair of games to fill the one-week void in its schedule.

San Diego State will now play the St. Katherine Firebirds on Wednesday, Dec. 2 in Viejas Arena with tip off scheduled for 6 p.m.  The game marks the second meeting between the programs, after SDSU defeated the Firebirds on Dec. 27, 2013.

San Diego State will also play San Diego Christian on Friday, Dec. 4, also at home and with a 6 p.m. tip. The teams have met nine times, and the Hawks have yet to take a game from the Aztecs. The two met last season with the SDSU earning a 92-48 victory.

San Diego State and CSU were scheduled to play on Thursday, Dec. 3 and Saturday, Dec. 5 on Steve Fisher Court. The two schools are working with the Mountain West to find a solution to the lost games.
