SAN FRANCISCO – Three members of the Aztec men's soccer team earned Pac-12 All-Conference honors. Midfielder Pablo Pelaez was named to the second team and Hunter George and Adam Vargas were honorable mention selections.

Pelaez (San Diego) led the Aztecs with 12 points and tied for the team-lead with four assists. As team captain he started all 18 matches and tied for the team-lead in minutes played. A consistent presence in the midfield since his arrival on the Mesa, Pelaez was second in the Pac-12 in shots per game (3.0) and third in shots on goal per game (1.2). This is Pelaez's third time being selected to the All-Pac-12 second team (2016, 2018, 2019).

George (Lincoln, Calif.) led the Aztecs with five goals, the most by a SDSU freshman since David Olsen scored seven in 2014. He finished tied for second on the team in points (10), third in shots (27) and third in shots on goal (12).

Vargas, a senior from San Diego, started all 18 matches and tied Pelaez with a team-high 1,489 minutes. His versatility allowed Coach Kirshner to play him all over the field. He scored two goals and had an assist.
