Aztec Notes
• The Aztecs beat the Titans 83-72 on the road last year behind a career-high 21 points from Téa Adams.
• The Aztecs are coming off a tough 61-53 loss to Alabama A&M Thursday morning. SDSU fell behind big in the first quarter and couldn't recover despite outscoring the Bulldogs 38-24 in the second half.
• Thursday's loss was the first game this season the Aztecs haven't had at least four players score 10 or more points. They have five players averaging double-digits points through four games.
• Taylor Kalmer, who transferred from Oregon State, has scored in double-digits in all four games this season. Prior to this year, Kalmer had never started, yet she has already set or tied single-game career-highs in points (19), rebounds (8) and assists (6) through four games. She played all 40 minutes against Alabama A&M.
• SDSU is in the middle of a stretch where they play four games in eight days and six of seven games at home.
• San Diego State is receiving votes in the preseason Coaches' Poll, marking the first time since 2012 the Aztecs have been recognized in a national poll.

Noting the Alabama A&M Game (L, 53-61, 11-14-19)
• The Aztecs made just one of their first 17 shots.
• The Bulldogs made 12 field goals in the first quarter and then only made 10 the rest of the game.
• SDSU held the Bulldogs to just one made three-pointer.
• Taylor Kalmer hauled in a career-high eight rebounds. She tied her career-highs for points (19) and assists (6) in SDSU's win over Westcliff on Tuesday. Kalmer played in 80 games at Oregon State before transferring to SDSU.
• Baylee Vanderdoes set a new career-high with four blocks.
• This was the first game of the year where the Aztecs didn't have at least four players score in double-digits.
• This was just the second time ever SDSU has lost to a team from the SWAC.

Opponent Notebook (Cal State Fullerton)
• The Titans are 1-1. They lost at Southern Utah but beat UNLV.
• They went 14-16 last year.
• CS Fullerton returns seven letterwinners.
• Raina Perez was named to the preseason All-Big West Team.
• The Titans were picked to finish seventh in the Big West preseason media poll and ninth in the coaches poll.
