Last Time Out
The Aztecs played Omaha to a 0-0 draw last Friday night at home. SDSU played a man up for the game's final 24 minutes and outshot the Mavericks 22-6 but couldn't find the back of the net. It was the second consecutive shutout for the Aztecs.

Aztec Storylines
•    The Aztecs host UCLA for their regular season finale and senior night Saturday evening at 7 p.m. PT. Prior to the game, SDSU will honor its 11 seniors and the match will be streamed on the Aztec Digital Network.
•    SDSU's 11 seniors include: Hampus Bergdahl, Mac Clarke, Emil Kjellker, Spencer Madden, Pablo Pelaez, Dane Rozas, Chris Scatterday, Miles Stray, AJ Valenzuela, Adam Vargas and Max Watkin.
•    The Aztecs have beat UCLA in the season finale, the last two years.
•    The Aztecs have recorded shutouts in back-to-back games using two different goalies. Freshman Tetsuya Kadono blanked Cal on the road despite facing 27 shots and then Harrison Skinner posted a clean sheet last week against Omaha. It was the first career shutout for both keepers.
•    Freshman goalkeeper Tetsuya Kadono recorded his first career shutout and collected a career-best eight saves at Cal in his fourth career start.
•    SDSU goalkeepers have combined to record 3.9 saves per game, second most in the Pac-12. Max Watkin is tops in the conference with 3.6 saves per game.
•    The Aztecs are second in the Pac-12 and 26th in the nation with 6.1 corner kicks per game.
•    Pelaez in second in the Pac-12 with 3.1 shots per game. He is also third in the conference with 1.2 shots on goal per game.
•    Pelaez is tied with Tevenn Roux for the team lead in assists with four.
•    Freshman Hunter George has a team-high five goals. This is the most by an Aztec freshman since David Olsen scored seven in 2014.
•    The Aztecs have three players with at least 10 points (Pelaez, Roux and George).
•    Pablo Pelaez and Adam Vargas are the only players who have started all 17 matches. They are also top two on the team in minutes played. 
•     The other Aztecs who have appeared in all 17 matches are Laukoa Santos, Tristan Weber and Tevenn Roux.
•    Pablo Pelaez was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week on Oct. 1 after scoring a goal and recording an assist in SDSU's 2-0 win at Brown.
•    Former Aztec goalkeeper Tally Hall (2003-06) was inducted into the Aztec Hall of Fame on October 11. A two-time All-American, Hall led the nation with an 88.9 save percentage and ranked second with a 0.49 goals allowed average in 2005. He also recorded 12 shutouts that season; all are single-season school records. After SDSU, he enjoyed a 10-year professional career, including eight seasons with the Houston Dynamo of MLS and was a two-time MLS All-Star.
•    Pablo Pelaez was named to the Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference Team. The redshirt senior led the Aztecs in points (15) and goals (six) last season and tied for the team lead with three assists.
•    The Aztecs have the No. 10 2019 recruiting class in the country according to Top Drawer Soccer. SDSU has nine newcomers (eight freshmen and one transfer).

UCLA

The Bruins are 5-9-3 and 1-6-2 in the Pac-12… Their lone conference win came against the Aztecs… They are 3-5-2 on the road… Since beating SDSU 5-2 on Oct. 6, they are 0-5-2… Despite their poor record, they hold a RPI rank of 55… The Bruins have six games against ranked teams and beat No. 1 Maryland 3-2 on Sept. 6. Overall, they are 1-5-0 vs. ranked opponents…UCLA is being outscored 21-13 in Pac-12 matches… Milan Iloski, who scored five goals against SDSU last month, leads the nation in goals (17) and is fifth in points (36)… Riley Ferch leads the conference with nine assists… Goalkeeper Justin Garces is 4-5-2 with a goals allowed average of 1.94. Bruins are coached by Ryan Jorden, who is in his first year at Westwood. He was most recently at Pacific where he re-started a dormant program in 2013 and turned the Tigers into perennial national contenders.... SDSU is 7-42-14 all-time against UCLA but have beat the Bruins in the last two season finales.
