Aztec Storylines
•    After five consecutive road matches, the Aztecs finally return home this week when they host Cal on Thursday (7 p.m.) and No. 7 Stanford on Sunday (12 p.m.). Thursday's match will be streamed on the Aztec Digital Network and the first 200 fans will receive a free SDSU clear tote bag. Former SDSU All-American goalkeeper Tally Hall will be honored at halftime ahead of his induction into the SDSU Athletics Hall of Fame on Friday.

•    SDSU will be at home for their next five matches. Thursday's meeting with Cal will be the Aztecs' first home match since Sept. 8.
•    The Pac-12 has the second-best record in non-conference play in the nation, trailing only the ACC. Washington is currently ranked No. 2 in the country and Stanford is No. 7. The first release of RPI rankings comes out Oct. 14.
•    Former Aztec goalkeeper Tally Hall (2003-06) will be inducted into the Aztec Hall of Fame on October 11. A two-time All-American, Hall led the nation with an 88.9 save percentage and ranked second with a 0.49 goals allowed average in 2005. He also recorded 12 shutouts that season; all are single-season school records. After SDSU, he enjoyed a 10-year professional career, including eight seasons with the Houston Dynamo of MLS and was named a 2011 MLS All-Star.
•    Pablo Pelaez was named to the Pac-12 Preseason All-Conference Team. The redshirt senior led the Aztecs in points (15) and goals (six) last season and tied for the team lead with three assists.
