SAN DIEGO - The Aztec swim and dive team makes a familiar road trip this weekend when they head north to compete at Pepperdine and then at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational at Fresno State.
On Thursday, the Aztecs will be taking on the Waves in a dual meet beginning at 10 a.m. Last year SDSU defeated Pepperdine 71-53 and are 5-0 against the Waves over the last three seasons. Thursday's meet will be streamed.
The following day SDSU competes in the annual Chick-Fil-A Invitational hosted by Fresno State to take on Cal, Washington State, San Jose State and New Mexico for a two-day contest.
Friday's first session begins at 11 a.m. and the evening session will begin 6 p.m. PT. Saturday's session gets underway at 10 a.m. Last season, SDSU finished in second place out of six teams with 963 points, while Cal took home first place honors.
The Aztecs are coming off a successful road trip where they went 3-0 in dual meets against Idaho and Alaska Fairbanks and took second at the WSU Relay Meet.
