BREMERTON, Wash. – Due to heavy rains in the Seattle area, Tuesday's final round of the Husky Invitational has been canceled, with the San Diego State men's golf team finishing in sixth place at Gold Mountain Golf Club.

As a result of the inclement weather, the tournament has been shortened to two rounds, with Monday's 36-hole totals serving as official scores.

The Aztecs fired a collective 3-under-par 573 on rounds of 284-289 to finish one shot behind Oregon for fifth place on the par-72, 7,159-yard Olympic Course.

Host Washington (-22) claimed the team title by nine strokes over runner-up Long Beach State (-13), while Nevada (-9) took third, followed by Oregon State (-7).

Puwit Anapansuebsai was SDSU's top individual after shooting a collective 2-under 142 Monday on back-to-back 71s. With his score, the Aztec junior finished four strokes off the pace in a tie for 13th place on a crowded leaderboard, where 16 players shot 1-under or better.

Four golfers tied for the individual top spot, including Long Beach State's Owen Avrit, Oregon State's Spencer Tibbits and the Washington duo of Noah Woolsey and Jan Schneider, who all carded a 6-under 138 on Monday.

Other SDSU highlights from the rain-shortened event featured a team-high 26 pars from junior Christian Banke (T-19th, E), an eagle by fellow classmate Zihao Jin (T-24th, +1) on the par-5, 14th hole in round two, and an Aztec-leading 10 birdies from sophomore Leo Oyo (T-32, +2).
