COLORADO SPRINGS, Calif. – 11 members of the Aztec Track and Field Team earned all-Mountain West honors, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.

The Aztecs took second at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships but scored more points and had more all-conference honorees than last year when they won their fourth championship in the last six years.

Four Aztecs earned all-conference honors in multiple events, led by Jalyn Harris, who was honored in three events (400m, 4x100m relay & 4x400m relay).

Bonnie Draxler won her sixth Mountain West pole vault championship (2nd indoor) and was part of SDSU's third place 4x100m relay team.

Callista Fletcher PR'd in the 200m dash (23.32) to take second place and ran the first leg of the 4x100m relay (3rd place).

Freshman Nyjari McNeil took third in the 800m run with the second-best time in school history (2:05.27) and ran the anchor leg of SDSU's first place 4x400m relay team (3:35.02).

Sophomore Asia Smith placed third in the heptathlon with a career-high 5,309 points, the ninth most in school history.

Freshman Alysia Allen made her mark by taking second in the pole vault (13-03.00). SDSU took four of the top five spots in the pole vault.

Sophomore Maya Brosch (2nd, 1:01.26) and freshman Nia Collins (3rd, 1:01.91) each earned medals in the 400m hurdles.

Lisa-Anne Barrow helped the Aztecs win their third straight 4x400m relay. The senior from Maryland has been a part of all three championship squads.

Sophomore Sakura Roberson (4x400m) and freshman Callista Fletcher (4x100m) also earned all-conference honors for their performances in the relays.
