SAN DIEGO -- San Diego State looks to snap a season-long four-game losing streak when it travels to Reno, Nev., for a weekend series with Nevada. The Aztecs (15-19, 3-6 MW) and the Wolf Pack (20-12, 5-1 MW) are scheduled to play at 4 p.m. PT Friday, 1 p.m. PT Saturday and noon PT Sunday.

SDSU is coming off a tough 3-0 series loss to UNLV, where two of the setbacks were by one run, including a 4-3, 17-inning game on Sunday. The 17-inning game is the longest in program history, longest in SDSU Softball Stadium history and longest in a Division I game this season.

San Diego State enters the weekend with a .252 average, led by Taylor Adams. The sophomore first baseman paces the Aztecs in average (.347, No. 2 on team is .290), hits (34), home runs (3, tied), RBIs (17), total bases (48) and slugging percentage (.490).

Kiera Wright (.282), meanwhile, leads the team with 22 runs and 15 stolen bases in 15 chances.

Three SDSU offensive players have been particularly effective in MW play in Adams (.394, 3 HR, 8 RBI), Kristen Parker (.381) and Shelby Thompson (.355).

Despite missing eight games before league play with an injury, Marissa Moreno continues to lead the San Diego State pitching staff in most categories, including ERA (4.09), wins (7), appearances (23), complete games (4), shutouts (2), saves (2), innings pitched (85.2), strikeouts (78) and opponents' average (.255).

Alicia Garcia (5-6, 4.58 ERA, 59.2 IP) and MJ James (3-6, 4.77 ERA, 80.2 IP) have also logged important innings in the circle for the Aztecs.

All three games this weekend will be streamed on the Mountain West Network (shortened link - http://bit.ly/2SZxJJg), while each game will have live stats on GoAztecs.com.
