Storylines
- The Aztecs have four games scheduled for this week. They begin by hosting GCC foe Santa Clara Thursday at 4:00 p.m. and then head to Tempe, Ariz. for the ASU Invitational where they will face Siena, Arizona State and San Jose State. All games will have live scoring on the FOSH and the ASU game will have a live stream.
- The Aztecs earned two big road wins over ranked GCC teams over the weekend. On Friday, they finished on a 5-1 run to beat No. 12 LMU 9-7. The following day Hannah Carrillo had three goals and two assists and goalkeeper Maura Cantoni collected 12 saves in the Aztecs 10-6 win over t-No. 22 California Baptist.
- SDSU had nine assists against California Baptist, tying a season-high.
- The Aztecs have played the most games in the GCC and have a league-high three wins.
- The Aztecs are No. 21 in the latest CWPA polls after falling out of the to 25 last week.
- The Aztecs have had four games decided by one goal, going 1-3 in those contests.
- SDSU is 4-9 against ranked opponents.
- Emily Bennett leads the team in goals (28), steals (56) and ejections drawn (47). She is also second on the team with 19 assists. Bennett has had multiple steals in 15 of SDSU's 21 games and had a season-high seven vs. Sonoma State.
- Senior captain Hannah Carrillo is second in goals (27) and has a team-high 29 assists. She has had eight games with multiple assists and eight games with two goals or more. Her four assists against LMU was the most for an Aztec in a single game this season.
- SDSU is 16-17 all-time against LMU and lost both meetings last season.
- The Aztecs have not lost to California Baptist since 2001 and are 19-2 overall against the Lancers.
