Storylines
-  The Aztecs next three games will be at home. On Friday they host No.10 UC Irvine at 3:00 p.m. and then play GCC for Concordia Saturday at noon. Next Tuesday, they host No. 14 Princeton at 4:00 p.m. for a non-conference game.
 - The Aztecs went 3-2 last week and 2-2 at the annual Aztec Invitational. They began the week with a dominant 14-2 win over Villanova, setting a new-season high for goals scored and season-low for goals allowed. They began the Aztec Invitational with a tough 10-9 loss to Azusa Pacific and then followed that with a 12-6 win over Saint Francis (PA). On Saturday, SDSU suffered another one goal loss, falling 7-6 T-No. 17 Long Beach State before earning a 12-8 win over No. 24 Bucknell.
 -  The Aztecs fell from No. 22 to No. 25 in the latest CWPA poll.
 - The Aztecs have had four games decided by one goal, going 1-3 in those contests.
 - SDSU is 2-7 against ranked opponents.
 - The Aztecs 14 goals against Villanova were a season-high. SDSU also held the Wildcats to two goals, also a season-best.
