COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced its Fall 2018 Academic All-Mountain West team on Wednesday, which featured 35 Aztecs across four sports.
For a second consecutive year, football and women's soccer led the SDSU fall sports teams with 13 honorees apiece, followed by volleyball, which had six all-academic members, and cross country, who added three to the list of qualifying Aztecs.
To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
