Need to Know
- The Aztecs (3-4) host the University of Toronto for an exhibition game on Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
- Last season in another exhibition against Toronto, the Aztecs won 13-6.
- Last weekend the Aztecs went 2-2 and took 13th place in the competitive Triton Invitational. In the first day they lost to No. 9 Arizona State (7-12) and No. 21 CSUN (3-7) and then won two games the following day over Pomona-Pizter (6-5 in OT) and Cal State East Bay (10-3).
- SDSU held Cal State East Bay to a season-best three goals. Goalkeeper Maura Cantoni collected 10 saves, her second straight game with 10 or more saves.
- In their win vs. Cal State East Bay, the Aztecs had a season-high seven assists.
- Just six of the Aztecs' 52 goals have come in the fourth quarter
- Senior Hannah Carrillo leads the team in goals (11) and assists (8).
- Sophomore Emily Bennett leads the team in steals (22) and ejections drawn (16) and is second in goals (7) and assists (5).
- Goalkeeper Maura Cantoni has played all but nine minutes this season and has collected 57 saves.
- Karli Canale has scored five goals in only nine attempts and is second on the team with 12 ejections drawn.
- The Aztecs will be back in action next weekend at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational at UC Irvine (Feb. 22-23).
