SAN DIEGO – FOX Sports San Diego will broadcast three San Diego State men's basketball games this season, continuing a partnership that dates to the 2012-13 campaign.
FSSD will air the Nov. 27 game against Jackson State (7:30 p.m. PT), the Dec. 29 tilt vs. Brown (5 p.m. PT) and the March 2 Mountain West clash against San José State (7 p.m. PT).
The regional sports network has televised 16 San Diego State men's hoops games in the last six seasons and this year's total will bring it to 19, including the first conference game to appear on its air.
SDSU's date with Jackson State will be its first appearance since returning from the Maui Invitational. The Brown game will be the third game of the Aztecs' non-conference-ending four-game homestand and the SJSU match-up represents the final tune-up before Senior Night vs. Fresno State.
In other scheduling news, SDSU's game at Illinois State is set for a 2 p.m. CT start (ESPN3/ESPN+) and the contest at California is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT on Pac-12 Networks.
The Aztecs are set to return three of their top four scorers from last season (Devin Watson, Matt Mitchell, Jalen McDaniels) and four of their top six (Watson, Mitchell, McDaniels, Jeremy Hemsley) off a 2017-18 team that went 22-11, won their Mountain West-high 11th conference title and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the seventh time in the last nine years.
