Aztec Volleyball Camp Postcard | Aztec Volleyball Camp Registration
SAN DIEGO - Registration is now open for the 2018 Aztec Volleyball Camps to be conducted in July at San Diego State University. The list of available camps is as follows:
ALL SKILLS CAMP
The SDSU All Skills Camp is a commuter camp open to both boys and girls in grades 6-12, scheduled for July 7-8 (Saturday-Sunday). Campers will learn the essential skills of volleyball in a fun and competitive environment. Drills and instruction will be modified and challenging for both beginning and experienced athletes. This camp is open to any and all participants subject to the restrictions previously stated.
TEAM CAMP
The Aztec Team Camp is scheduled for July 13-14 (Friday-Saturday) and is open to girls' teams only (minimum of 8 players) in grades 9-12. Teams will receive instructions from the SDSU coaching staff and will interact with Aztec volleyball players. Mornings will be devoted to skill development, while afternoons and evenings will consist of competitive play. The Aztec Team camp will enable competitors to get a head start on their seasons, as we will include drills that focus on offensive and defensive schemes that enable coaches and their teams to hone in on skill development and competition each day. This camp is open to any and all participants subject to the restrictions previously stated.
ELITE DEFENSIVE AND PASSING CAMP
The Aztec Elite Defensive and Passing Camp is scheduled for Thursday, July 19, and will focus on service, reception, defensive floor moves, and out-of-system setting. Advanced techniques will be offered with fast-paced drills and game play. This camp is designed for the experienced-level female players in grades 9-12 and junior college. This camp is open to any and all participants subject to the restrictions previously stated.
ELITE CAMP
The Aztec Elite Camp is scheduled for July 19-21 (Thursday-Saturday) and is designed for experienced-level female players in grades 9-12 and junior college. Campers will learn advanced skills through individual and game-like situations. One session of the camp will consist exclusively of position-specific training. Commuter and overnight pricing options are available. This camp is open to any and all participants subject to the restrictions previously stated.
ELITE HITTER AND SETTER CAMP
The Aztec Elite Hitter and Setter Camp is scheduled for Saturday, July 21, and is designed for experienced-level female players in grades 9-12 and junior college. Setters and hitters will be broken up for the first half of the session to work on specific skills relative to their position. The second half of the camp will be a combination of both setters and hitters to work and compete together on tempo, location, transition, and play sets. Advanced techniques will be offered with fast-paced drills and game play. This camp is open to any and all participants subject to the restrictions previously stated.
