THE QUOTE
"All the crews raced well and of course, winning the Cal Cup is the highlight," head coach Bill Zack said. "It shows how far the team has come in just a few years. Five seniors won gold medals today, but with one junior and three freshmen in the boat, we know we will be prepared to be fast again next year in the Jessop-Whittier Cup."

"We were real happy with the alumni support to help us celebrate the 20th year as a varsity sport. The combined support of Nike, Vespoli shells, Croker oars, Nielsen Kellerman electronics, and Power Crunch enables the team to operate at their best."

UP NEXT
The Aztecs will spend the next couple weeks preparing for its race at Loyola Marymount on Saturday, April 14, in Marina del Rey, Calif. Races vs. the Lions are set to begin at 8 a.m.
