SAN DIEGO - San Diego State graduate Duke Little has been named the vice president and general manager for San Diego State Sports Properties, SDSU Director of Athletics John David Wicker announced today.
Little brings over 25 years of experience in executive leadership, business development, sports marketing and sponsorship to the Aztecs. He returns to San Diego following his most recent positions as the executive director for Team IMPACT.
“With the success of the entire athletic department, football and Coach Long’s two consecutive Mountain West Championships and a top 25 ranking, coupled with the continued success of men’s basketball and the dynamic atmosphere that is Viejas Arena, you have to be excited for the future of the Aztecs” Little said. “My team and I look forward to contributing to the meteoric rise that the Aztecs are experiencing.”
Little has extensive experience hosting NCAA events, serving on the host committee for the 2009 and 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball East Regional, and the 2006 NCAA Ski Championships. He was also on the Boston 2024 Olympic Bid Committee, acting as a member of the Olympic Movement sub-committee in 2014 and 2015.
Little’s longest tenured position was at Boston College, where he was the general manager of IMG Sports Marketing from 2007-14. In that role, he was responsible for the Boston College IMG Sports Radio Network and ensured the fulfillment of 100 corporate partners with revenue of over $1 million annually. Managing 12 employees and a radio network of 15 stations throughout New England, he was a two-time WME/IMG College Chairman’s Cup Award Winner.

Little earned his Bachelor of Arts in history from San Diego State in 1991.
