San Diego State-UNLV Postgame Notes

Big Notes
- San Diego State outgained UNLV, 460-122, tied for the 13th-largest yard differential (338 yards) in its Division I history (since 1969). It was the 25th time in its DI history that SDSU had at least a 300-yard advantage in total yards.
- The Aztecs held the Rebels to just 122 yards of total offense, the fourth-fewest allowed by SDSU in its Division I history. UNLV's 122 yards were its fifth fewest in a game in at least 20 years (since 1996).
- SDSU held UNLV to just nine passing yards, ranked as the fourth-fewest allowed in its DI history. They were also the second fewest in a game by UNLV in at least 20 years (since 1996).
- San Diego State is 4-1 for the first time in 20 years (since 1996).
- The Aztecs won their 12th consecutive game against a conference opponent (including the win over Air Force in the 2015 Mountain West Championship), which is tied with Clemson for the longest active conference winning streak in FBS.

- Rushed 31 times for 141 yards (4.5 avg.) and one touchdown, while adding a career-high seven catches for 57 yards, which was seven yards short of matching his career best.
- Broke 100 yards rushing for the 26th time of his career, the active FBS leader and tied with New Mexico's DonTrell Moore for the most in Mountain West history.
- Moved from 17th in NCAA history (using the official NCAA record books) to 14th with 5,163 rushing yards, passing the likes LaMichael James (5,082) and Montee Ball (5,140), among others.
- Recorded a rushing touchdown for a sixth straight game (10 total over that span).
- Scored his ninth rushing touchdown of the season and now has 54 for his career. Also scored his ninth overall touchdown and now has 59 for his career.
- SDSU improved to 21-5 when he reached 100 rushing yards and 25-8 when he scores at least one rushing touchdown.

* Rashaad Penny, Jr., RB (14 att., 110 yds., 1 TD | 2 rec., 50 yds., 1 TD)
- Rushed 14 times for a 110 yards and a touchdown, and added two catches for 50 yards and a touchdown. The rushing yards, rushing touchdown, receptions, receiving yards and receiving TD were all personal bests.
- Recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game (75th player in school history).
- Scored a touchdown for the ninth straight game. He has 10 touchdowns over that span, including five rushing, three receiving and two kick return.
- Now has six touchdowns on the year (three receiving, two rushing, one kick return) and 14 for his career (six rushing, four kick return, four receiving).

* Christian Chapman, So., QB (15-for-20, 215 yds., 1 TD, 0 INT)
- Was 15-for-20 for 215 yards and one touchdown.
- Improved to 6-1 as the starting quarterback.
- Now has eight touchdown passes on the season and 10 for his career.
- Connected on a career-high 75 percent of his passing attempts (min. 5 att.).

* John Baron, So., PK (2-for-2 FGs, Long 50)
- Was 2-for-2 in field goal attempts, including a pair of career-long makes (48 and 50 yards)
- Became the first Aztec since 2007 with multiple field goals in the same game from at least 48 yards (third time since 1996).
- He is now 5-for-6 (.833) for his career.

* Calvin Munson, Sr., LB (5 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 PBU)
- Shared the team lead in tackles with five, four of which were solo.
- Led the team in tackles for the 12th time of his career (third time this season).

Other Notes
- CB Damontae Kazee, LB Calvin Munson, RB Donnel Pumphrey, LG Nico Siragusa and WAR Malik Smith each started for the 32nd straight game, the longest streaks on the team (does not include specialists).
- RT Daniel Brunskill, RB Donnel Pumphrey and LG Nico Siragusa each played in their 45th consecutive game, the longest streak on the team.
