IRVINE, Calif. - The San Diego State track and field team wrapped up competition at the adidas/Steve Scott Invitational Saturday on the campus of UC Irvine in Irvine, Calif.
Jasmine Young finished 13th in the 400-meter hurdles out of 20 entrants with a time of 1 minute, 4.27 seconds.
The Aztecs had three athletes in the 1,500 with Rachel Roesgen leading the way with a 42nd-place showing (out of 82) in 4:53.81. Cali King (4:57.97) and Lily Mayko (5:00.87) came in 50th and 56th, respectively.
In the discus throw, Anushi Desai took 11th, beating 18 others with a toss of 141 feet, 9 inches (43.21m).
SDSU is back in action on Sunday at the Payton Jordan Invitational in Stanford, Calif., beginning with the hammer throw at 11 a.m. PT and ending with the pole vault at 5:30 p.m. PT.
