- San Diego State sets the Mountain West record by winning its eighth consecutive league road game (dates back to last season). The previous record of seven was held by the 2004-05 Utah and 2010 New Mexico teams.
- SDSU sets the school record for consecutive conference victories by winning its 11th straight (dating back to last season). The record includes all 95 seasons of basketball and not just the MW era. The 2014 Aztecs team won 10 straight league games to open the season.
