MALIBU, Calif. - The San Diego State men's tennis team concluded action at the 2015 USTA/ITA Southwest Regional Championships on Saturday at Pepperdine's Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center. Complete results can be found at: http://gowav.es/1LPcBKR.

The third day of Southwest Regional Championships, Hendrik Jebens and Milen Ianakiev both advanced to the singles main draw quarterfinal. Jebens took down UCLA's Logan Staggs with a 6-2, 6-2 win, and Ianakiev came from behind to defeat Robbie Bellamy from USC, 2-6, 6-4, 6-0.

In the quarterfinals, Ianakiev, unseeded in the tournament, suffered a two-set decision to No. 4-seeded Martin Redlicki from UCLA, 6-3, 6-3. Meanwhile, Jebens fell short against Jordan Angus from San Diego, 4-6, 6-3, 4-6.

Main draw doubles action saw Marko Goles-Babic and Ianakiev lose a hard-fought decision in the quarterfinal to San Diego's Romain Kalaydijan and Joshua Page, 8-7 (4).

In the singles back draw Round of 16, Raul de la Torre fell to San Diego's Filip Vittek, 6-1, 6-3, and Jonas Meinzer dropped his decision to Cristobal Rivera of Loyola Marymount, 6-4, 6-2.

Next up for San Diego State is the 59th Annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championships beginning Oct. 28, hosted by UCLA.
