10-7 overall in singles play, going 5-2 against Mountain West opponents … Was nearly perfect in the No. 5 spot, yielding an 8-1 mark … Finished the year on a five-match win streak and went 6-3 in his final nine appearances of 2016 … Singles wins against opponents from No. 42 UC Santa Barbara, No. 70 Penn, No. 64 New Mexico and No. 59 Boise State … In doubles play, was 12-7 overall with Freddy Gelbrich, producing an 8-4 mark and a flawless 5-0 record in Mountain West play … Duo won their final seven matches of the year, and was 7-1 on court No. 3 … Went 4-1 when paired with Milen Ianakiev, including a win over Guillermo Nunez and Jerry Lopez from No. 3 TCU, and lost in his lone appearance with Sander Gjoels-Andersen.
2015:
Posted a 23-7 record in singles action, recording a 14-2 mark in the fourth spot and going 5-1 against Mountain West opponents ... Two-time Mountain West Player of the Week ... First Player of the Week award came on Jan 21 after wins going 4-0 over UC Riverside and UC San Diego and earning a victory in doubles action with Santiago Cevallos ... Second Player of the Week honor on March 25 earned after going 5-0 in three dual matches at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley Spring Tennis Classic.
As a freshman at Ohio State in 2014:
Posted a 4-1 overall record in singles play in 2014, including a 2-1 mark during the dual season ... Finished the dual season on a two-match singles winning streak ... Was 6-2 overall in doubles play (6-1 in dual matches), playing in each the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 doubles slots ... Helped lift the Buckeyes to a 33-4 overall record, an undefeated 11-0 conference mark and a Big Ten championship, an appearance in the NCAA quarterfinals and as high as a No. 1 national team ranking.
