SAN DIEGO - San Diego State, the back-to-back Mountain West regular-season champions, will wear new Nike Hyper Elite Disruption uniforms in 2015-16. The Aztecs will wear their traditional whites at home and black in road outings.
In addition to the new uniforms, SDSU will incorporate the Aztec Calendar into its kit. The Calendar, which was used by the Aztecs and is a piece of Mexican history dating back to the 1400s, will be featured on the back panel of the uniform top.
All of Aztecs’ markings on the uniform, from the San Diego State across the chest, to the name and number on the back, to SDSU’s primary logo on the shorts, are tackle-twill. The shorts, meanwhile, feature a 26-degree speed graphic on each of the sides.
Nike Hyper Elite Jersey
Ultra-lightweight mesh in the back of the jersey serves to regulate the temperature of the player along the spine, where athletes tend to heat up the most. Lightweight fabric in the front of the jersey helps maintain a comfortable body temperature by wicking moisture while eliminating cling from excess sweat.
Nike Hyper Elite Shorts
A new performance flex vent placed by the knee allows the game short to naturally flex when the player moves. The continuation of performance perforated zones at the side of the short allows the moisture management properties of the Nike Pro Combat Hypercool shorts or Nike Pro Combat Hyperstrong shorts worn underneath to work together as a complete system.
