COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San Diego State concluded competition at the Air Force Diving Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo., Saturday afternoon with the 3-meter board event. A total of 51 athletes from 16 schools took part in Saturday's meet.

Sophomore Izzy Choquehuanca led the Aztecs with her score of 264.15 good for 13th place. Two places behind her in the 15th spot was SDSU freshman Ally Caplan with a point total of 261.90 for her six dives.

Another Aztec freshman, Makena Chamoures, also finished in the top half of the final individual standings. She ended the day in 25th place with a score of 236.10.

In addition to that trio, sophomore Shannon Finigan posted a score of 225.20 to finish 32nd while freshman Nicole Dutton had a mark of 217.15 to finish 36th.

The San Diego State swimming and diving team will now have just over two weeks to prepare for the upcoming 2015 Mountain West Championships to be held Wed.-Sat., Feb. 18-21, at Palo Alto College in San Antonio, Texas.
