Oct. 5, 2014 SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State men's tennis team wrapped up the 2014 SDSU Fall Invitational on Sunday, as sophomore Milen Ianakiev (Elz, Germany) defeated sophomore teammate Jonas Meinzer (Buggingen, Germany), 6-3, 7-5, in the Red Flight championship at Aztec Tennis Center.

In the Black Flight, Aztec sophomore Saxon Buehning (Essex Fells, N.J.) finished third by knocking off UC San Diego's Eric Tseng, 6-1, 6-4, in the third-place match, while SDSU freshman Santiago Cevallos (Querétaro, Mexico) dropped his match to Loyola Marymount's Luke Bohuslav, 6-1, 6-1, in Round 5 of the round-robin flight.

The Aztecs resume fall play in the ITA Regional Championships, beginning Oct. 17, in Malibu, Calif.
