SAN DIEGO - San Diego State's football game on Saturday, Sept. 6, against No. 21/23 North Carolina will be broadcast live on Channel 4 San Diego in addition to ESPNews, with coverage beginning at 5 p.m. PT.
Channel 4SD will simulcast the game on both San Diego Cox and Time Warner Cable systems. The game can be found on Cox channel 323, Time Warner channel 302, DirecTV channel 207 and AT&T channel 604.
Saturday's contest in Chapel Hill, N.C., will be a matchup of two teams that were victorious in their season-openers at home last weekend. The Aztecs defeated Northern Arizona, 38-7, while the Tar Heels topped Liberty, 56-29.
SDSU owns a 9-2 record since September of 2013, which is tied for the seventh-best mark in the nation during that span. In addition, the Aztecs are 5-1 in their last six road or neutral games dating back to last season. Included in that stretch are victories in three different time zones (Mountain, Pacific and Hawaii).
San Diego State has advanced to a school-record four consecutive bowl games and is one of only 29 schools in the nation, and one of just two schools in the state of California, to advance to bowl games following each of the last four seasons.
