SAN DIEGO - The San Diego State lacrosse team was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Squad, the association announced on Monday. The Aztecs received the honor after posting a 3.0 team Grade Point Average for the 2013-14 academic year.

At the conclusion of the 2014 season, San Diego State had five players named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) all-Academic Scholar Athletes, including senior Isabelle Pickett, sophomore Anna Cholewczynski, junior Lauren Paul, junior Grace Korandovich and junior Bailey Ewing.

In the third season of the program's history, SDSU made its first postseason appearance in 2014. In the process, the Aztecs set new team records for most conference victories (4), most road victories (4) and most conference Player of the Week honors (6). In addition, San Diego State played four teams that made the NCAA Tournament and six teams who at least received votes in either the IWLCA Coaches Poll or the Brine Women's Media Poll.
