ADIDAS/STEVE SCOTT INVITATIONAL LIVE RESULTS
Kortney Ross cleared 13 feet in the pole vault to pace the 14th-ranked San Diego State track and field team Friday at the 20th annual adidas/Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine, Calif.
Ross finished fifth out of 24 entrants with a mark of 13 feet, 1 ½ inches (4.00 meters). Ross is now the third Aztec to break 13 feet in the pole vault this season (also Kristen Brown (twice) and Holly Waseloff).
SDSU is scheduled to compete at a last chance qualifying meet next weekend.
