COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San Diego State completed competition at the Air force Diving Invitational Saturday afternoon with three Aztec divers participating on the 3-meter board.

Freshman Shannon Finigan was SDSU's top finisher as she placed 24 out of 54 competitors with a score of238.85. The vent was won by Savanna Meadows of Air Force, who posted a mark of 310.05 points.

Another Aztec freshman, Marlee Kersting, ended the afternoon four places behind Finigan (28th) after turning in a score of 231.70. Chandler Marshall rounded out the field for San Diego state with 221.35, good for 43rd.

The Air Force Diving Invitational marked the final regular-season action for the Aztec swimming and diving team which will now have just over two weeks to prepare for the Mountain West Championships. That meet will be held Feb. 19-22 at the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center in San Antonio, Texas.
