SAN DIEGO -
CAMP PAMPHLET | AZTEC SOFTBALL CAMP REGISTRATION
The San Diego State softball team will host a pair of camps in November, head coach Kathy Van Wyk announced today. The first Mini Camp will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, while the second All-Skills Fall Camp will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Both camps are open to any and all participants from the ages of 7 and up and will be held at SDSU Softball Stadium, the same place where the Aztecs play their home games. Parking is available in Parking Structure 5, but a parking pass must be purchased for $1/hour.
Each attendee must bring her own equipment and provide her own lunch. Water will be provided. Additionally, every camper must turn in a medical waiver form prior to the camp date via e-mail to Mia Longfellow at mlongfellow@mail.sdsu.edu or via fax at (619) 594-1674.
The Nov. 2 camp is $30, while the Nov. 10 camp is $40.
On Nov. 2, SDSU will be hosting a Mini Camp for girls between the ages of 7 and up. The camp, which will be held between 9 a.m. PT and noon PT, will receive great instruction in offense and defense, including breakdowns and drills in hitting and fielding. The players will be grouped together by age and skill. Following the three-hour camp, the San Diego State softball team will take on Santa Ana College at 1 p.m. PT and all campers are welcome to stay and watch.
On Nov. 10, the Aztecs will welcome all athletes looking to develop their game in an All-Skills Fall Camp from 9:30 a.m. PT-2:30 p.m. PT. Campers will learn basic fundamentals of the game while having fun! Modification will be made for beginners and more advanced athletes. The entire SDSU softball team will be there to demonstrate and engage with campers.
