AZTECS HOST NEVADA IN LONE MATCH OF THE WEEK
San Diego State will host Nevada in its only match this week as the Wolf Pack visits Aztec Court on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 7:00 p.m. The contest is SDSU's conference home opener and will also be Nevada's first Mountain West match of the 2013 campaign.

SERIES RECORDS
San Diego State all-time record vs. Nevada is 2-1 with the teams having met on three previous occasions. Last season the Aztecs finished the regular season with a three-set win over the Wolf Pack after Nevada had defeated the Aztecs in five sets in Reno earlier in the season to record its lone Mountain West win of the year. The Aztecs' other victory in the series came in three sets during the 2011 Aztec Invitational in San Diego.

AMONG THE NATIONAL LEADERS
As a team, San Diego State ranks 29th in the nation in both kills and assists with averages of 14.11 and 13.18 per set respectively. There are currently 324 schools competing in NCAA Division I volleyball. Individually, setter Johnna Fouch ranks 25th in the nation in assists with an average of 11.09 per set. Outside hitter Summer Nash ranks 66th in points (4.31) and 73rd (3.71) in kills per set.

WABER COMING ON
Michelle Waber led the Aztecs in kills in both of last week's matches. She notched 11 over three sets vs. University of san Diego and had 15 in four sets at UNLV. For the week she averaged 3.71 kills per set.

FOUCH SETTING IT UP
Senior setter Johnna Fouch turned in a double-double at UNLV last Saturday (45 assist-13 digs) to give her seven in SDSU's first 11 matches. During the NAU Fiesta Bowl Classic the weekend of Sept. 6-7, her 54 assists vs. Idaho established a tournament record for assists in a three-set match.

HARRIS ON THE ATTACK
Middle blocker Emily Harris tops the team in hitting percentage with a mark of .355 after 11 matches. She has finished with a percentage of .300 or better in eight of the team's 11 contests this season. Harris set a season high with a .550 attack percentage (14 kills-3 errors-20 attempts) against Harvard last Friday (Sept. 13).

LITTLE SEES MORE TIME
Freshman Baylee Little has started four of the Aztecs' past five matches in place of the injured Raegan Shelton. She is the only one of SDSU's six newcomers to have seen action during the opening three weekends of the season. She had her season high in kills with seven in the match vs. Harvard on Sept. 13.

SHELTON OUT
Senior outside hitter, a preseason all-conference selection, is expected to miss the next three-four weeks after suffering a broken finger during the NAU Fiesta Bowl Tournament over the weekend of Sept. 6-7. Shelton was averaging 3.14 kills, 0.81 digs and 0.19 blocks per set through SDSU's first five matches of the season.

FOUCH MOVING UP THE CHARTS
Setter Johnna Fouch's three-plus year mark of 3,991 assists places her third on the SDSU career list. The top spot is held Andrea Clark (1994-97) with 4,916. Fouch ranks 12th on the Mountain West career assist list and needs just 65 assists to break into the top 10. Her 40 career double-doubles in the most among active players in the Mountain West and is fifth on the all-time conference list.
