MEET SCHEDULE | HEAT SHEETS | SDSU SEASON BESTS

The 20th-ranked San Diego State track and field team will make the short drive north to compete in the Cal State San Marcos Mangrum Invitational on Saturday.

Joining the Aztecs and the host Cougars in the one-day meet are Azusa Pacific, Cal Baptist, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State San Bernardino, Cuyamaca, Mesa, Palomar, Santiago, Soka, The Master's, UC San Diego and Vanguard.

The meet kicks off for SDSU at 11 a.m. PT with the hammer throw, while the track events get underway at 12:30 p.m. PT with the 3,000-meter steeplechase. The javelin ends the day around 4:30 p.m. PT.

San Diego State will send 30 athletes to the local meet, including Brittany Bozeman (100 hurdles, javelin throw), Antonique Campbell (100, 400, 4x100), Sarah Haydock (high jump, javelin throw), LaQuisha Jackson (400, 4x100), Chelsea Kruthers (1,500, 4x400), Thoraya Maronsey (200, long jump), Lily Mayko (400 hurdles, 4x400), Jessica McCall (1,500, 4x400), Amanda Okun (800, 4x400), Nicole Oudenaarden (100 hurdles, high jump, javelin throw), Allison Reaser (400 hurdles, high jump, shot put), Amy Reaser (1,500, 3,000), Rachel Roesgen (1,500, 4x400), Karsen Sper (100 hurdles, 200, javelin throw), Maderia Toatley (200, 4x100) and Melissa Wendorf (1,500, 3,000) in multiple events.

Kristen Brown (pole vault), Maya Carter (400 hurdles), Alex Evans (100 hurdles), Kelsy Hintz (pole vault), Mikayla Howden (hammer throw), Renetia James (400), Josefine Koskinen (1,500), Carrington Mahr (high jump), Deyna Roberson (400 hurdles), Hannah Sawatzki (3,000), Shanieka Thomas (4x100), Rebecca Turnbow (pole vault), Thresa Vinson (pole vault) and Holly Waseloff (pole vault), meanwhile, will be competing in solo events on Saturday.

The Aztecs are coming off their third consecutive Cal/Nevada Championships title. SDSU easily won the meet with 166 points, well ahead of runner-up Nevada's 136.50 points. Allison Reaser was named the Track Athlete of the Meet, while head coach Shelia Burrell was named the Coach of the Meet.
