UCSD TRITON INVITATIONAL COMPLETE RESULTS
Allison Reaser won the 400-meter hurdles to lead the San Diego State track and field team Saturday on the final day of the UC San Diego Triton Invitational.
Reaser defeated 17 others in the 400 hurdles with a time of 58.37 seconds. It was the third-fastest time in program history. It's also tied for the 14th-fastest mark in the country this season.
Four other Aztecs finished in the top three in their respective event, led by Kelsy Hintz in the pole vault. Hintz finished third of 11 entrants with a vault of 13 feet, 10 inches. It was the third-best mark in school history and ranks ninth in the nation.
The other top-three finishes came from Josefine Koskinen in the 1,500 meters (second, 4:33.85), Thoraya Maronsey in the triple jump (tied-second, 37-02.50) and Marianne Hogan in the 5,000 (third, 17:46.17).
Whitney Ashley, meanwhile, finished sixth out of 24 athletes in a loaded invitational shot put with a toss of 54-01.00. It was the second-best mark in program history and ranks 10th in the country.
Holly Waseloff finished in a tie for eighth in the pole vault, clearing 12-10.25. It was the ninth-best pole vault in school history.
SDSU heads to the Occidental Invite on May 5 in the team's final meet before the Mountain West Championships (May 9-12).
