Aztec senior Kristen Meier made it a clean sweep at the 2012 Falcon Diving Invitational as she captured first place on the 3-meter springboard Saturday afternoon at Air Force's Cadet Natatorium in Colorado Springs. Her win followed up victories on both the 1-meter board and platform on Friday.

It was another stellar day for SDSU's divers as sophomore Anna Steiner finished second with a score of 321.60. She was followed by junior Rafaella Suarez, whose mark of 296.00 was good enough to take third. Senior Aina Eill was eighth with a score of 230.85 in the finals.

Steiner's and Suarez's scores were both personal career bests. Steiner's mark enters the SDSU all-time list as the second-highest in the event while Suarez's score is the fourth-best ever by an Aztec diver. In addition, both of their results as well as Meier's meet the qualifying standard for the Zone E Meet in March.

The meet was the final competition of the regular season for the Aztec divers, who will now look forward to the Mountain West championships to be held Feb. 22-25 in Oklahoma City.
