Player Notes

Xavier Thames (game-high 22 points, team-high 4 assists, 1 turnover, 7-11 FGs, 3-5 3FGs, 5-5 FTs) - The sophomore had a career-high 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor... He had a career-high tying three three-point field goals... It was his third career 20+ scoring game and the 12th time he has reached double-figures in the scoring column... He has made 27 of his last 29 free throw attempts... Prior to tonight, in the two games since returning from his injury, Thames had 10 points total... He led the team in scoring for the third time this season and has now led the Aztecs in assists a team-high 12 times this season.

Chase Tapley (12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocked shots) - The junior continued his stellar play, reaching double figures for a team-high 12th consecutive game... He recorded seven rebounds, his highest total since grabbing 11 rebounds in the season opener against Bryant... His two blocked shots tied a career-high (he has reached that figure now six times in his career).

Jamaal Franklin (12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 blocked shot, 1 steal) - The sophomore followed up his Mountain West Conference Player of the Week performance with 12 points... It was his sixth straight game in double figures, and the 14th time this season and the 15th time in his career he has scored at least 10 points.

Tim Shelton (4 points, team-high 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 0 turnovers, 1 charge drawn) - The senior paced San Diego State and recorded a season-high eight rebounds in the contest... He now has 20 boards in his last three games... He drew his 21st charge of the season tonight.

LaBradford Franklin (9 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 0 turnovers in 13 minutes) - Franklin was a perfect 3-for-3 from the field and posted his highest point output since an 11-point effort against Redlands... He had zero turnovers for the second time in three games... With two made FTs, the sophomore is now 21-of-25 from the line this season.

Game Notes
• This marked the third time this season San Diego State has overcome a double-digit deficit. The Aztecs also rallied against Long Beach State and San Diego. Like tonight, the Aztecs won all three of those games.
• San Diego State is now 18-2 in its last 20 road games.
• The Aztecs are now 4-1 this season when trailing at the half.
• San Diego State has won 61 consecutive games when leading with five minutes to play.
