• The Aztecs have won 46 straight games against unranked opponents.

• SDSU has won 36 straight at home vs. teams not ranked in the AP Top 25.

• The Aztecs have won 26 straight non-conference home games.

• SDSU has won nine consecutive home games in the month of November and 18 in a row at home during the month vs. unranked foes.

• San Diego State has now won 16 straight games against opponents from the state of California.

The Series
• San Diego State defeated USC in men's basketball for the first time since Dec. 9, 1989.

• The victory snaps a five-game losing streak to the Trojans in the series.

• SDSU is now 2-10 lifetime against USC.

Player Notes
• Jamaal Franklin posted his fourth double-figure scoring effort in as many games... He has now led the team in scoring twice this season...Franklin was 5-for-5 from the free-throw line and has now made his last 17 free-throw attempts. He is 17-for-19 on the season (89.5 percent).

• Xavier Thames logged his second straight double-figure scoring game and his third double-figure scoring performance of the campaign... Thames had the game-winning basket with 1.8 seconds left. He is the first Aztec to make a game-winning shot (designated as a shot or free-throw that puts SDSU ahead to stay with less than 35 seconds to play) other than D.J. Gay since Billy White made a pair of free-throws to put San Diego State up to stay at Fresno State on Nov. 23, 200 (Gay had the team's last three game-winning shots). • DeShawn Stephens tied his Aztec career high with nine rebounds... Stephens also had a career-best two blocks.
