Team Notes
• San Diego State started a pair of newcomers in senior Garrett Green and sophomore Xavier Thames. They were joined in the lineup by senior Tim Shelton and juniors James Rahon and Chase Tapley.

• Tonight's attendance of 11,711 is the largest exhibition crowd in the Steve Fisher era. It easily surpassed last year's exhibition crowd of 5,240 for the Point Loma Nazarene game, which was the previous high.

• With the victory, the Aztecs have won 17 consecutive exhibition dates.

• Tonight's 15-point win is the Aztecs' sixth-straight double-figure exhibition victory.

• SDSU enjoyed a 30-2 advantage in bench points.

• All nine Aztecs who entered the game scored at least two points.

• San Diego State nearly had as many offensive rebounds (14) as it did defensive (16).

Player Notes
• Junior James Rahon scored a team-best 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field. He was a perfect 4-for-4 from the charity stripe and knocked down 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.

• DeShawn Stephens made his Aztec debut tonight and nearly had a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. The junior was an impressive 7-of-10 from the field.

• Sophomore Xavier Thames, the preseason MW Newcomer of the Year, had a game-high nine assists in his first game in a SDSU uniform.

• Junior Chase Tapley added 15 points in a starting role.

• Senior Garrett Green recorded seven points and seven rebounds in his first game at San Diego State.

• In just 13 minutes, junior Alec Williams was a perfect 4-for-4 en route to eight points and four rebounds.

• Sophomore LaBradford Franklin had five assists and just one turnover.

• Between Thames and Franklin, the duo combined for 14 assists and just two miscues.

• Sophomore Jeremy Castleberry connected on 1-of-2 field goals to score his first points of his career.
