SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's tennis player Javier Pulgar dropped his qualifying match on Monday at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
Pulgar was on the wrong end of a 7-5, 6-2 score in his match with Iowa's Marc Bruche in the first round of qualifying singles play.
Pulgar and Hunter Nicholas, however, open the qualifying draw of doubles play on Tuesday against the Mississippi State duo of George Coupland-Zach White.
