SAN DIEGO - San Diego State men's tennis players Hunter Nicholas and Javier Pulgar advanced to the final round of the men's ITA All-American pre-qualifying draw. Each will have a chance to advance to the qualifying draw with wins on Sunday.

Nicholas defeated Wichita's State Guillermo Nicol in the first round, earning a 6-1, 7-5 victory and then advanced past the second round when his opponent withdrew. The native of Park City, Utah will face Mississippi State's Zach White on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. CST.

Pulgar, who had a bye in the first round, knocked off Radford's Thomas, 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-3 in the second round. The Madrid, Spain native will face Sudanwa Sitaram of Texas on Sunday at 8 a.m. CST.
