SDSU has won its last seven games against teams that were unranked at game time (longest streak since winning 10 in 1976-77). The Aztecs improve to 14-19 overall against the service academies and 21-6 against DI independents ... SDSU is 1-0 all-time vs. Army.

* SDSU did not commit a turnover for the third game in a row (also vs. Navy, Cal Poly). It is the first time the Aztecs did not commit a turnover in three consecutive games in the team's 488 all-time outings at the Division I level (since 1969).

* Rocky Long is the first Aztec head coach to win his first road game since Denny Stolz beat Utah in Salt Lake City in 1986.

* SDSU has scored at least 14 points in the first quarter in six straight games ... The three-point margin of victory is the team's smallest since beating Air Force on Oct. 16, 2010, by the score of 27-25 ... SDSU's 23 points are its fewest since scoring 21 vs. BYU last year.
