SAN DIEGO - Aztecs Now, a weekly television show featuring San Diego State athletics, is set to premiere on Wednesday, Aug. 31. The 30-minute show, which is scheduled to run throughout the 2011 football campaign, will debut exclusively on Channel 4 San Diego at 8:30 p.m. and then re-air on Thursdays and Fridays at times listed below.

Hosted by SDSU football and men's basketball play-by-play announcer Ted Leitner, the show will highlight head coach Rocky Long, a football student-athlete and a San Diego State Olympic sport. In each episode, Long and a selected football player will review the previous week and look forward to the game ahead. This week's show will feature senior quarterback Ryan Lindley. The Olympic sport feature, meanwhile, will give fans an in-depth look at one of SDSU's other 18 sports on campus.

The executive producer of Aztecs Now is David Berry.

Aztecs Now can also be seen on The Mtn. (San Diego Cox Cable channel 320, Orange County Cox Cable 313, DirecTV channel 616).
