WALNUT, Calif. - Shanae Roach took sixth in the Olympic Development Elite 200-meter dash as the only competitor for the San Diego State track and field team at the 53rd annual Mt. Sac Relays Saturday in Walnut, Calif.
The junior ran the half-lap race in 24.17 seconds, just behind Canada's Jessica Zelinka (24.10). It was the fastest 200 of the outdoor season for Roach and the second-fastest by an Aztec this season.
SDSU heads to La Jolla for the UCSD Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
