TOP NOTES

* San Diego State picked up its eighth win of the season, its most in 14 years (since it had eight in 1996) and matching its most in 33 years (since it had 10 in 1977).

* San Diego State's 34-point victory is tied for its largest margin of victory against a MWC opponent (Wyoming, Oct. 7, 2000 - W, 34-0).

* SDSU improved to 12-8 all-time against UNLV ... The Aztecs have won seven of the last eight meetings and four of the last five ... San Diego State is also 8-3 all-time against the Rebels in San Diego and have won the last five in the series at home ... SDSU's last four victories over the Rebels in San Diego have been by a combined 87 points.

* With Brandon Sullivan's first-quarter TD, the Aztecs have scored a touchdown in 50 straight games.

- Ryan Lindley, Junior QB: Posted his sixth 300-yard passing game of the season and 12th of his career (T-3rd all-time at SDSU with Billy Blanton) ... Passed Kevin O'Connell (2004-05-06-07) for second all-time in total offense at SDSU ... Tossed four touchdowns and now has 26 this season, which is tied with Todd Santos (1987) for fourth in Aztec single-season history ... Extended his school-record consecutive start streak to 30 games ... Lindley has 35 career starts overall in his three-year Aztec career, missing only one start against Air Force back on Oct. 11, 2008, due to injury ... Threw for 290 yards and three touchdowns in the first half, giving him 611 yards and six touchdowns in the first half of each of the past two games (321 yards, 3 TD's vs. Utah).

- Brandon Sullivan, Senior FB: Caught a 17-yard touchdown pass on SDSU's opening drive and later scored on a 1-yard run ... Sullivan now has 10 touchdowns this season (7 rushing, 3 receiving) and 19th for his career (14 rushing, 5 receiving) ... Sullivan has nine touchdowns (7 rushing, 2 receiving) in his past five games ... He has four games with two or more touchdowns this season and six for his career.

- DeMarco Sampson, Senior WR: Recorded his sixth 100-yard receiving game of the season (T-7th in SDSU history) and seventh of his career (T-13th in SDSU history) ... Has caught a pass in 26 consecutive outings ... Caught his seventh and eighth touchdowns of the season and 17th and 18th of his career ... The 18 career TD receptions is tied for ninth with J.R. Tolver (1999-00-01-02).

- Vincent Brown, Senior WR: Moved into third place on the school's all-time receiving yards list, passing Jeff Webb (2001-03-04-05) and Will Blackwell (1994-95-96) ... Moved past Will Blackwell (1994-95-96) and into third place on SDSU's all-time receiving yards list ... Had his 22nd career touchdown reception, which moved him into sole possession of fifth in school history.

- Ronnie Hillman, Freshman RB: Broke the MWC freshman single-season rushing record, which was held by Harvey Unga of Brigham Young (2007) ... Recorded his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season, which is tied for the ninth-most by an Aztec in a single-season ... The five are also tied for the 14th-most by an SDSU player in a career ... All five have also been over 150 yards ... Became the seventh Aztec to break 1,200 rushing yards and the sixth to break 1,300 ... Scored his 14th rushing touchdown of the season, which is the eighth-most by an Aztec.

- Miles Burris, Junior LB: Now has 11.0 sacks this season, including 10.0 over his last nine games ... His 11.0 sacks are the most since Aztec Hall of Famer Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila had 12.0 in 1999 and are the sixth-most in single-season school history ... Added 3.5 tackles for a loss and now has 19.0 for the season, 1.0 away from cracking the single-season top-10 list.

- Abel Perez, Junior K: Hit a 53-yard field goal, his SDSU career long, tied for the third-longest in school history and the longest since Peter Holt also converted a 53-yarder in 1996 ... He has now made eight straight field goals.

OTHER NOTES

- SDSU scored on its opening drive for the third consecutive game and sixth time of the season.

- SDSU's 17 points are its most in the first quarter since it also scored 17 against Utah State on Sept. 25 ... The 17 points are the most in a first quarter of a MWC game since it also scored 17 against TCU on Nov. 24, 2007.

- SDSU's 31 first half points are its most since scoring 35 against Portland State on Sept. 22, 2007 (W, 52-17).

- SDSU scored at least 10 points in its first three quarters for the first time since Sept. 12, 2009, vs. Southern Utah (W, 35-19).
