What did you think of the win?
Really big win on the road and I think DeWayne is a tremendous coach, and I think they are a better football team and we're a better football team than we were a year ago. We had some mistakes in there early, we didn't convert on fourth down twice in the football game. If you have six inches you better learn how to convert if you want to win championships.
That was the message , the defense stood up a bunch and the offense started moving the ball, we started running the football, made a couple big plays. We had some penalties that hurt us and bad field position but the kids played hard and played together.
Brian Stahovich did unbelievable job punting the football, he gave us some great field position at times
Had issues with their defense?
They hit a skinny post then we go in their shut them down, we come back out hit the field goal, I guess were on fourth and one fourth and six inches and I'd do it again because we have to learn how to play. I thought the defense kept rallying pretty good to be honest with you.
What was happening in the second half that you were able to run the ball effectively?
Well I think they got a little worn down, I don't know how many guys they were rotating through but I though in the first half we got a little bit tired.
You need to be able to run the football and take time off the clock, play your defense a little bit. And your kicking game, it was nice to do that at the end.
