SAN DIEGO - Three San Diego State men's tennis players were recognized as 2010 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes. Junior Tim Schulz van Endert, junior Matthew Tosches and redshirt sophomore Luis Rattenhuber all received honors for the Aztecs.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1) Be a varsity letter winner. 2) Have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year. 3) Have been enrolled at their present school for at least 2 semesters (including freshman through senior year).

The San Diego State men's tennis team finished the 2009-10 campaign with a 13-13 record and advanced to the championship match of the Mountain West Conference tournament. The Aztecs finished the year strong, winning four of their final five and nine of their last 11 matches.
