SAN DIEGO - San Diego State point guard Quenese Davis (Sacramento, Calif.), who last week completed a standout Aztec basketball career, has earned an invitation to a WNBA pre-draft camp on Saturday, April 3, in San Antonio, Texas - site of the 2010 NCAA Final Four.
The invitation-only camp, which will be conducted by ProHoops, allows elite college seniors and other former and current professionals to showcase their talent in front of WNBA coaches and front office members in anticipation of next week's Draft, slated for Thursday, April 8, in Secaucus, N.J.
The camp will take place at Lady Bird Johnson High School and is run by former coaches Linda Hargrove and Jessie Kenlaw.
Davis finished her stint on The Mesa as the program's all-time career assists leader with 670. She ranks No. 2 in league history in both assists and steals and capped her stay in the Red & Black by being named the most valuable player at the 2010 Mountain West Conference championships. Davis helped lead the Aztecs to their first Sweet 16 appearance and was a three-time all-MWC pick, while playing in all 125 games over the last four seasons.
