  • Kawhi Leonard (14 points, 15 rebounds): Leonard recorded his 14th double-double of the season, which extends his freshman school record... The freshman reached double figures in rebounding for the 16th time this season... His double-figure scoring effort is his 19th of the year... Leonard logged his third game with at least 15 rebounds
  • Kelvin Davis (8 points): Davis made his fifth start of the season, 10th start as an Aztec and 11th start of his college career tonight. It marked the first time he has started since getting the nod against Northern Arizona on Nov. 28, 2009... The Aztecs are now 4-1 this season and 7-3 in his career when in the starting five... Davis knocked down multiple three-pointers for the eighth time this year
  • Malcolm Thomas (10 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks): Thomas posted his third game this season with at least five assists... The junior blocked at least two shots for the 12th time this year and for the second straight game... Thomas grabbed at least seven rebounds for the 15th time in his last 19 games and for the 21st time this year.
  • Chase Tapley (6 points): With Davis earning the starting nod on senior night, Tapley had his string of 15 consecutive starts come to an end.
  • Ben Kneller (1 point (1-for-2 FT): San Diego State senior manager Ben Kneller dressed tonight for the first time in his career and entered with 1:09 remaining in the game when he subbed for Brian Carwell. Kneller was cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse at 1:45 p.m. today, paperwork certifying his status was complete at 2:30 p.m. and he had a physical at 4 p.m. today. The paperwork was faxed to the conference office at 4:30 p.m. making him eligible for tonight's game. Kneller was not informed that he might dress for today's game until 2 p.m. today. He becomes the second student-manager to dress for the Aztecs during the Steve Fisher era following in the footsteps of David Velasquez (2006-07). That season,Velasquez played in four games, recording two missed three-point field-goal attempts and one steal in four minutes of action. Velasquez, who now serves as the director of player development, helped guide that Aztec team to a 22-11 record and to the second round of the NIT. Making his first appearance, Kneller went 1-for-2 from the free-throw line for one point in one minute of action.
