Sunday evening's baseball game between the Monmouth and San Diego State, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium, has been canceled due to inclement weather. With the Hawks set to play a doubleheader at USD on Monday before leaving town the next day, the contest will not be rescheduled.
The Aztecs' next regularly-scheduled contest is slated for Tuesday, March 9, against Long Beach State at Blair Field at 6:30 p.m.
San Diego State will host its annual Aztec Invitational beginning Thursday, March 11, with contests at Tony Gwynn Stadium and USD's Cunningham Stadium. In addition to the Aztecs and Toreros, other teams participating include Cal State Fullerton, Alabama-Birmingham, Fresno State and San Francisco.
