The San Diego State men's and women's golf teams volunteered their time at the annual Snow Day on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Colina Park Golf Course in City Heights.
Snow Day is an annual event hosted by SDSU alum Phil Ward. Ward, who is also an active supporter of the men's golf program, sponsors the event each winter for 80-100 intercity children. Snow machines are brought in to make a sledding hill on the golf course for the children. There is also hot chocolate, clowns and even a visit from Santa.
The event is held in conjunction with Pro Kids and Father Joe's Kids.
