Advanced Softball Showcase
San Diego State University is an elite softball program combining innovation, philosophy, discipline, and determination on its drive for excellence. We would like to invite you to participate in a unique opportunity this summer.
We are hosting some of the most gifted high school age student-athletes on campus for our Advanced Skills Showcase. During this showcase, you will participate and learn all phases of the game: pitching and catching skills, advanced offensive and defensive strategies, baserunning and strength and conditioning. You will also have the opportunity to play in competitive games to showcase your skills. The goal of this camp is to prepare you for an elite level of competition, allow you the opportunity to get to know our coaches' and program philosophy, and to provide you with the opportunity to surround yourself with other athletes who have your same goals.
Date: June 16-17, 2009
Times: 4-8 p.m. (June 16) and 8 a.m.-Noon (June 17)
For: Advanced athletes entering grades 9-11 (limited to 30 athletes)
Cost: $100
